About Us

We’re a young family in the UK who, like many others, wanted to feel more in control of our money.

We first came across the idea of zero-based budgeting through a budgeting YouTube channel, where we discovered the principles behind the system and started learning more about them for ourselves. We began using the method in our own finances and, although it seemed so simple, it made a real difference. For the first time in a long time, we felt like we could breathe again when it came to our finances.

As we became more comfortable with the system, we started looking for products that would make it easier to organise and maintain our budgeting system in everyday life. We couldn’t find everything we wanted locally, so we began exploring what was available, ordering products for ourselves and customising them around the way we actually wanted to use them.

Over time, we realised we weren’t the only ones looking for practical products that could make budgeting and everyday organisation feel a little simpler, more enjoyable and more personal.

And that’s where Marigold England began.

We’re still learning, still trying new things and still making mistakes along the way. But that’s part of the journey. Everything we share through Marigold England comes from things we’ve genuinely found useful in our own lives, with the hope that they can be useful to someone else too.
